About GANYC
The Guides Association of New York City is an association of independent, professional tour guides based in New York City. GANYC provides a number of services for members, locals, and the visitors to NYC, including tour guide education programs, policy advocacy within the industry and in New York City, and tourism networking opportunities for our members, partner organizations, and tourists.

GANYC has a long history of supporting guides and the tourism industry through licensing changes, evolution of the tourism industry, and the growth of the international tourist guide community, all of which we are excited to celebrate in the coming year!

How We're Celebrating
GANYC's big 50th birthday bash took place on Friday, March 1st at 6:30pm in Buttenweiser Hall at the 92nd Street Y (1395 Lexington Avenue).
